What is it? Black Locust Firming Concentrate is a beautiful oil serum designed to improve a wide range of mature skin concerns, including roughness, loss of firmness and elasticity, all without causing clogged pores or sensitization.
Notes from the Curator: Ava, the creator, wanted to create a thicker, nourishing oil for dry, mature skins, which didn’t feel heavy or oily. She created Black Lotus in a base of Açai and Kalahari Melon oil with the scientifically studied extracts of ethically sourced bakuchiol extract from the Ayurveda babchi herb, and two types of extracts from the wildflower white lupine.
Let’s get Nerdy: Ava uses Bakuchiol extract at 1% as that has been shown to effectively address various concerns with aging skin. To Ava, the Black Locust tree serves as a symbol for for that stage of life when people might be conscious of their aging skin but can also delight in the inner wisdom and life experience that aging can bring. She says, “Black locust trees look dark and wrinkled most of the year yet they have an arresting woman’s energy as well. In the spring, black locust trees become covered in large, fragrant blooms”.

- How to Use
Add a few drops of the concentrate to your face moisturizer or aloe-based serum once or twice a day. Dry skin types may massage a few drops directly into freshly cleansed, moist skin day or night. Shake the closed bottle gently once in a while to remix. Skin Types
